What kind of motor oil do you guys run in your car, and why do you use this brand? Is it because of it's price, quality, or availability? Where do you buy your oil? If you rather use another brand then the one your using what brand would it be? How come you are not using this brand of oil? Would you order oil online?
I want to start a business catering to sportcar junkies. I will specialize in automotive synthetic oil/fluid. (Sometimes I hate it when I want a particular brand of oil or fluid and I cant find it anywhere). Basicly I will be your one stop synthetic oil/fluid online or in- shop store. Some of the brands I am thinking of carring are Castrol, Mobil-1, Redline, Amsoil, Neo, Royal purple, Motul, Lucas, Synergyn, Kendall, Valvoline, Quaker State, Pennzoil. If you have suggestions of others please let me know.

Valvoline Durablend

My car has mileage up the ass. Synthetics supposedly lack detergents. Natural oil breaks down. Blend supposedly gets best of both.
I usually flush the engine with high mileage specific oil during changes though.

fully synthetic Amsoil..... its the best and it can be mixed with other synthetic oils, unlike Mobil.

Either Castrol GTX for higher mileage engines or Valvoline. Carquest uses Valvoline oil, and I got a case of that for pretty cheap. . . Then again, I don't ride my car as hard as many of y'all

Instructor in my auto class had nothing good to say about Pensoil or Quaker State, being parafin base he said they break down and leave waxy buildup if not changed frequently. Could be full of shit, but I've never heard anything bad abut GTX

Kendall, good stuff. ive read in a magazine that they use regular 10w30/40 in their race cars. thats pretty cool knowing someone actually uses their sponsor's product. i had mobile 1 in my car for a while but it got pretty exspensive. but if i wanted something other than kendal it would be mobile 1 or redline. but i am very happy with kendall. my work carries it, the only place that carries kendal and red line in my area!

castrol. My Gfs dad uses it and swears by it. So does my friends dad who autocrosses. They are both oldschool and say its best for the engine.
