Online tournaments with very interesting prizes seem to a new trend among racing games. Today, Sony has announced the GT-Academy in which all Gran Turismo 5 Prologue players can prove they have what it takes to become a real-life race driver.
The winners of the tournament will be rewareded with four months of racing school leading to a drive in Team Nissan’s Nissan 350Z at the next Dubai 24 Hours in January 2009. Online competition will start at the end of may, the two quickest drivers will be getting the drive in the Nissan.
