yes a sad day :( went to dyno to retune my car since i finally found a good power fc guy here in FL
in one the passes we made i noticed smoke coming out of my engine bay , saw oil in valve cover side and piping , thought it was coming out of the T on valve cover since i didn't have a oil catcher tank, so didn't thought it was a big deal and installed the oil catcher later today , so i cleaned up everything and went for a spin again step on the gas second third gear and again oil smoke, i check and check and the only thing i found was the oil stick was out for about 2 inches and the oil was coming out from there
bad piston? im doing a compression test tomorrow.
car was making 364WHP on a mustang dyno @19 pounds(20g)
and of course i want to boost a bit more and that when the smoke came out of engine bay:smash:
i should it leave it at 19 pounds

the only thing i found was the oil stick was out for about 2 inches and the oil was coming out from there

Dude, relax :)

If the dipstick comes out of the tube (from vibration, most likely), you're going to spit oil out onto the manifold and valve cover at high RPMs. Try zip-tie'n the dipstick to it's mount on the motor, and then do a run ~ no more oil leak, you're good :)

I know this because I bent my tube (instead of removing it/etc) when I pulled my manifold off a couple times (once to go to tubular, a couple more times to fix leaks, till I finally bought a 7-layer gasket), and *kinked* the dipstick tube. The tube vibrates with the motor on the mounts, and shakes the dipstick up.

I don't know much about SRs but sounds like you're pressurizing the crank case which would lead to the blowby and popping the dipstick/spraying oil.

Change your PCV first, then change your dipstick and make sure its not just a bad seal on it. If it still spit oil, take it easy and save up money for some fresh piston rings atleast and say hello to blow by. 364 really isnt bad on a 20g, thats a lil on the low end but not that bad. I wouldnt be surprised if your compression is still up in the 140s.

btw this turbo is capable to do more for sure, 364 on a mustang dyno is close to 400 on a dynojet or dynamic

Dude, did you miss my post? Seriously, check compression, and then when you realize it's fine, check your dipstick tube for kinks, zip tie your dipstick into the tube, and watch your oil problem disappear.

or your valve cover gasket might of went out also.ez fix.

bad news. Piston number 2 its gone . Only reads around 20%, time to rebuild and go for 400-450 :) . Whats fucked up is that I just got car from bs .

Wow, guess it wasn't just the dipstick rattlin out. Sorry to hear that ~ now go find a deal on some pistons, get that block prepped, and have a brand new motor.

that sucks bro but when your running that much power on a stock block for a while its going to happen... smoke was coming out of my bov when i blew my redtop in my s13.
