In my hunt for a door and fender i came across a 240 in a junkyard today that had a NICE leather interior, only problem was a spot on the passenger seat were the seam had popped but it was only like 1 inch long, guy told me $300 for the whole interior, you guys think its worth it?

S13, S14?
It depends.
Take him down to like $200 for the seats if one has a torn seam. That inch will 12 once people start sitting in it again. In fact, the leather is probably old and hard if it has been there a while. I would honestly pass, but it depends on what car it is on?

actually i was sitting in the seats and they were quite comfortable, the car has all its windows, so the seats haven't been exposed to the elements, and it actually looked like it hadnt been in the yard long, as for the seam, iwould probably take it to the local upholstery shop and just have them fix it before i installed the seats. its for an s13 btw, they really did look in good shape, i looked at the seats pretty good, there was barely any wear on the driver seat and none on the passenger besides the seam

Wow, that is a really good find. Are they grey <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>
Mine just aren't comfortable.
Also about leather, it will not breathe. Expect your back to get sweaty and nasty. It's bad for hard cornering too.
Get the steering wheel and shift knob too.
