Wow...Did this happen on the 15 south freeway? I remember seeing a 240sx on the side from an accident on my way home from work. Well good luck with the sale...not sure how much that would go for but I think you would get more if parted. Let me know if you do.

Yeah 15 south right by friars... and that lovely lady in the first picture doesn't have insurance. Lawsuit time! I love it when the freeway is stopped bumper to bumper and some people just don't want to stop.

Well I've been thinking about it and the way I look at it, I have 2 options.
1st. I can fix it to be driveable for $1,500-$2,000 (not including repaint or back panel repair), then turn around and hope to sell it for $3,000-$4,000. So I can hope to make around $2,000 and a S14 kouki is still alive and kicking on the road.
2nd. I can do a full part out and make well over $2,000 in parts. (R32 rims, leather interior, 5 lug, kouki tails, etc)
So ethier way, I'm hoping to get at least $2,000 back. But now I'm starting to think that it isn't worth it for me to go through all that repair work so someone else can enjoy all my wrench time and part sourcing. I would like to sell the car as is without the R32 rims for around $2,000 (which probably wont happen) so someone can fix it to their personal likings. Like if someone were so moved to do widebody fenders with the S15 strawberry face... that would require replacing the fenders/hood/headlights and extending the rear panels too... thus covering the dents on the back. The car will need a repaint regardless so it can be repainted in a fresh coat of silver moss or whatever color the owner would want. Yet, a full part out would benefit several people and I would make more money. School is out on the 24th so now I'll have time to pick at it and start slanging parts.
But like I said, I'm just testing waters while I wait for my adjuster to get back to me. The max for small claims court is $5,000... the max my insurance gives me for uninsured driver coverage is $3,500 so once I get the "market value" of my car I can charge her that minus $3,500 + $575 for remote start pager alarm + $575 custom stereo install + $700 tow yard fee. It's probably over $5,000... but that's all I can get.

... wow not worth fixing IMO youll spend 2g easy on properly repairing front and on top of that its now salvaged.... your gonna put in too much wrench time and come out a couple hundred on top, if that... either way if yur looking for s15 parts im in san diego..// Got head lights/brackets.. retainer clip, CF HOOD, and OEM front bumper.. good luck br0.. sorry about yur loss

...then buy back the car from the insurance and go ahead with your part-out or fixing the car and make back a little more. just a thought.
good luck either way.
