I'm on the freeway..Driving like normal..

and all of a sudden..I feel my car jerk forward and start bogging...its loosing power to the point to where when I accelerate, It barely moves forward.

I pulled over onto the shoulder to check things out.

My MAFS (Z32) is fine. and in tact, the ground to the mafs is good, and the ground from the mafs to the chasis is good.

I checked to see if I popped off any IC piping..everything was okay.

I just wiggle all the wires around, hoping to hear the engine hold its rpm...
Nothing that I could see...

I got back in the car...and everything was okay...It was really wierd...

Anyone know what might be the problem?

I'm asuuming that it is the sensor in the MAF itself, that might be fucked up.

TPS is fine...

Z32 mafs

Any ideas anyone?

I'm waiting for my friend to come over with his multimeter so I can do some readings..any heads up or information will be appreciated. I don't want to get stranded again on the freeway..

I had a similar problem on my sohc. It was the sensor on my MAF, I replaced it and it works fine now.

That's what I was leaning towards..

I'll check everything out, and come back with the results.

Have you checked your Plugs?

Plugs are all fine.

Just checked them a few days ago. Gapped at .28 across.

Coilpacks are firing good aswell.

fuel starvation can cause that sensation when driving also.. Might be worthwhile to check your fuel filter if you dont find anything else.

If you recently changed/worked around ur plugs....check ur wires too.
That happened 2 me.
Apparently, I got too crazy with the wire and damaged one.

mmm.. I'd check connections in the plugs from wire to pins in those connections that you wiggled when you pulled over. Even if your MAF is in tact and everything looks clean, you could have corrosion on the internals of a plug itself.

I'd also check fuel delivery. Did you go with a warlbro pump when you swapped?

Or maybe this is still just karma from giving that Security guy the finger? LMK if you need extra hands for anything.
