Does anyone remember the company that made a gauge pod that takes the place of the ashtray in an s14? I remember seeing it awhile back but now I can not find the website. Thanks in advance :)

Arent gagues supposed to be placed somewhat in the eye-sight of the driver?
I couldnt imagine taking my eyes off the road to look completely down just to gather some information.

Yea I am putting my boost and oil pressure gauges on the a-pilar and was wanting to put a voltage gauge down where the ashtray is. I just thought that the voltage gauge would look good down there since I dont use the ashtray.

Put the Boost Controller, Turbo Timer or other square electronics. I have my wide band wedged in there. Had the Sat Radio there.
If you want to run a circle gauge. Cut out the lighter and put the gauge there then run a multi plug for the Radar/iPod/ect lighter adapters. Anything plugged in there gets in the way of the shifter and radio.

i put my volt gauge in the lighter spot on my s14. it was not that hard i bought the right circle bit and cut it out you have to sand it down a bit but it took me like 20 min tops and it looks pretty cool

That looks nice! I just didnt want to modify my radio trim piece since I just paid around $50 for it. But if I have to then I will. Your setup does look really nice. I just wish I could remember where I saw that ashtray gauge holder at? Thanks for all the replies so far! :)
