hey guys i need some help with my car.
i recently installed some circuit sports inner tie rods and ends and now my car hums like crazy. it drives me insane.
the faster i go, the louder it gets.
i tried to isolate the problems and it seems i can only be the new tierods
im not rubbing because i swapped wheels and im fine. it cant be my tires or wheels being out of balance because i tried a different set as well.
i already got an alignment and its all good.
im wondering if i installed them wrong or something because there can be no other problem. i did notice that wen installing my rods. the inner rod would thread in so far that it touches the other side. can anyone give me some insight on this? or anyone else using CS tierods?
heres a picture of it.

is it bad for that pillowball to be angled like that?

its because the pillow balls are made of metal and the vibration of metal makes the humming noise...unless im missing something

i tried different sets of tires/wheels already and i got an alignment already at driftspeed. got the paper too if u wanna see.
it does sound like tire hum but i changed wheels already. i did it this way: i changed out the front two with a different pair and my regular rear two and vice versa. so yea... help please? really annoying on the freeway. even on local street its annoying

So, for toe to be in spec the tie rods have to be threaded in completely?

Does it get worse or go away depending on whether you're turning? Maybe the tie rod is making a wheel bearing problem more pronounced?

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but is that installed right? Do both spacers go on one side?

I think it depends on how low your car is, you want the tie rod to be straight with the ground and not all angled.

Pictures look fine from what i can see. If you still have your old outter tie rods i would swap it to really isolate the problem. I just dont see how swapping out tie rod ends would create a humming sound tho unless something is loose. Good luck.

When i had my CS tie rods installed they worked fine.
But i'm looking at the picture and you only have threads on one side of the blue peice......aren't you suppose to spin it, to equally thread both sides out to the length that you need.

Well you want equal length on the thread on both side creating an equal balance. You can take it to an alignment shop and tell them that, pretty expensive though to go to alignment everytime.
