im gettin bad wideband readings. also have leaky turbo flanges. so im thinking one is causing the other ofcourse.
i was at the parts store and the guy there showed me this stuff called AcoustiSeal. he said it is the only thing i can really use for exhausts. anyone ever used it? i was just going to use copper spray, but it didnt exactly work last time, and it looks like the accoustiseal will build better.
im just not sure if it will hold up to the heat of the manifold and turbo. im looking to seal my T3 to manifold connection and the 7 bolt turbo exhaust housing.
if not this stuff, let me know what you think would work
thanks

Try this stuff.

JGS sells it with their kits if you can't get a gasket.
It works good, just make sure to follow the directions.
You can pick it up almost anywhere.

Go buy Permatex Gold. I used it on my car and my buddy uses it on his 600HP Turbo mustang. Never had a problem. Your local parts store sells it. But make sure your flanges are flat or it won't seal.

new oem gaskets,, and if its the manifold/outlet itself...have them machined flat..or at least flatten them out yourself with a straight edge and a file. (which is super easy to do..its not rock science)

thanks for the suggestions. im a little hesitant on the permatex stuff, but i guess thats all i can really get locally. unless you think a hardware store would have the rutland stove cement....
oh and ive serached a few spots already, havent found anywhere that sells the nissan T3 exhaust housing gasket (7 bolt). anyone?

If Permtex can hold up to the abuse of my buddies 600HP Mustang, I think the 200HP Nissan shouldn't have any problem if you seal it right. Thats all I used on all my gaskets on my built rb25.

atp turbo sells gaskets i think.
i never had any luck with the copper sicicone type gaskets on turbo manifolds, that is a high heat area.
the only thing that has ever worked for me was a gasket,
full race once told me on the phone that they machine their turbo housings and manifolds flat so there is no need for a gasket. and that they dont run one.
as for the housing gasket, im running a 4 bolt t3 wiht out one and its sealed up pretty good

ATPTurbo is the place to go for turbo related gaskets. I just ordered some yesterday. Everything from turbo manifold to exhaust gaskets.

yeah their universal downpipes are pretty great. At the shop I work at, were building a MKIII supra and used one of their pre-made, universal 3" vband downpipes (with built in flex section) saved us a tone of fab time.
Also have ordered turbo exhaust housings from there, really great selection.
