hey everyone im just curious about silvia pricing. i was offered a front end with dual halogen, oem hood, oem fenders, head light brackets, and corner lights. i presume it is in at least decent condition. he said all i need to get is a bumper and he said he wants 550 and my HID kit. what do you guys think. im not sure what the average pricing is for a front end. is this reasonable. by the way my HID kit cost me about 100 bucks. so all together like 650 for this. just would like some opinions.

front ends run anywhere from 600-1k. depends on the condition, what bumper you have, and how available they are in you're area.

bricks (dual halogens) run more than the dual or triple projectors so the pricing seems fair. You'd need a bumper and the reinforcement as well. Also, a grill if you actually want one, but that's up to you.

o ya it comes with the gtr grill. i forgot to mention that. and im going fmic so im just gonna run without the bumper support until i get a hol dof one that i can modify.

then yeah that's a good price.
550 w/o your hid is a fair deal imo

^ do you know how much more the halogens run over the dual and triples or even the pricing for a GT-R grill. The deal is more than fair. All that's really missing is the bumper which ppl sell Q's bumper anywhere from $50-$120 depending on condition and a bumper support which he already stated he doesn't need. It's a good deal.
Sumoboi, seeing as you plan on modifying the support if you ever come across one, I suggest getting a couple pignose supports to modify. With little modification they can be used with the silvia front end and it'll be much cheaper and easier than to source a Silvia one.
didnt read everyone's post prior to making a post. my b

one for 500 just slipped thru my hands.....grrr.
but if the fenders line up, the hood fits up, and the brackets aren't all messed up on the lights, then hell yea, thats a good price

to the OP, the price seems fair.
I just want you to note, however, that even when people say "good condition," this really means that the front end is scratched up as fuck.
basically, my point is that used silvia front ends are almost always fucked up in some way or another. it is usually easy and reasonably cheap to fix them.
just dont EXPECT something you can slap on and drive away looking clean. 99.9% chance you will need to have it fully sanded down to the metal, dent repair, and new paint.

o yea i know that. even if the front end was perfect my car qould look fucked up cause the rest of the body is boned to hell. i wanted to do the front end before i do any body work so its all done at once to save money. im going to ask to see the front end tommorow and then ill make my decision. im probably going to sell the brick headlights and buy triple projecotrs.

I got my silvia front end from Venus (venus-auto.com) they're located in sac, florin area to be exact. got it from about 700, the guy was pretty cool too, he gave me the choice of the GTR grill and dual halogen or projectors.

Indeed. Give this a shot if you have a 240sx bumper support. It might save you some money/hassle. It should take about an hour if you have the right tools. I was having trouble sourcing a JDM beam, so...
