how do i get the black burnt stuff off my muffler to get it shiny again?

spray wd 40 on it and start your car, let the muffler warm up and then wipe it down.
GOJO will wipe it off also...... and not leave an oily base on your muffler....

And it smells/tastes delicious. Well I've never tasted it, but judging by the smell...

I have aluminum polish and a mothers powerball that i use on headlights, muffler, taillights, and wheels.

I say you give it a taste test and lets us know how it goes. Make sure you take pictures while you'are at the hospital too.
