I finally got around to replacing my air filter today. After I got the filter put on, I took it out for a drive and it's bogging down. I've noticed it's leaner at idle. Before I replaced the filter my afr was around 14. I've checked the usually, maf, leaks and other sensors but nothing. I've put my old maf back on just to eliminate it but no luck. I've checked all the sensors at the pigtails but I haven't check them at the ECU. No codes from the ECU. I was thinking my maf is going bad because it's doing this around 2.5k to 3k rpms. anyone else have any ideas.

double check everything u messed with, if you have a z32 maf and had a chassis ground wire make sure you connected that back up. if everything still looks kosher, you can clean off the maf element and see if that helps, if not, u may wanna try a known good maf. gl bro

I rechecked all the connections on the intake. I did notice the coupler between the intake pipe and the turbo wasn't seated straight. My guess is it was causing a vacuum and causing unmetered air to enter the intake causing it to go lean.
It's running about the same as when I had my old dirty maf installed. The afr's at idle and cruising are at between 14-15. at wide open throttle it's between 11.5-12.5. I am going to recheck all my connections and make sure they are seated properly.
