Second attempt.
A friend of mine showed me this clip about the G25 a while back. I thought it would be baddass, but thought it cost an arm and leg. Apparently it's priced in mid $200's. Not exactly cheap, but about the price of a new set of tires, cheaper actually depending on tires. Just wanted to know if anyone ever got to a chance to use it.

i've never seen a pc wheel with a clutch pedal or a shifter that wasn't a glorified dpad.... that's awesome.

Lol what a tool! But that wheel/shifter/pedals are pretty cool. You'd think he'd be playing a game with better graphics considering how serious he is.

the G25 is the tits! buddy of mine got one recently, even playing GT4 is a whole new experience...with GT5 it will be nuts, full support for clutch and H-pattern shifting... i'll definately gonna get one of those once GT5 is out.

this is too serious for GT5, you will never fully experience the G25
I use the older driving force pro for my racing games but it aint got the clutch action, but you can build your own pedals, h shifter, and put a real steering wheel on em.
check this forum out people build their own cockpits

But you dont do this stuff for GT or Forza, you do it mostly for PC sim racing online..
I would like to do somethign simple like this in front of a projection screen

yea the wheel is 300.. but imo well worth it, if you play live for speed or rfactor (lots of mods for these games as well) It works for ps3, simple usb. When grid comes out I plan on purchasing this

You could basically do the same thing F1 teams do
i saw this on youtube its pretty cool.. ex f1 driver mark brundell trying out the Williams F1 simulator
http://youtube.com/watch?v=C7tGgMEQX1Y
You could so create that simular setup, with games like Rfactor, a steering wheel and a homemade cockpit and projectors
I guess alot of people make F1 cockpits
http://youtube.com/watch?v=F4zFNQHfeL4
*i dont know why the guy would not use the bumper view instead of the cam view.. hes already phsyically in a real cockpit dunno why he needs to see it on screen lol
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Dlv6yEyqKDc
That one is nuts.. pretty dope but dam all that money i would think they would just put him in front a projection screen instead of playing thru a little monitor.. lol
