hey guys i need some help here..

My car s13 coupe is having some problems with eletric power and lights

i whould have to jump the car everymorning to start the car and go to work
and some times at night my neighbors will knock on my door and be like your lights are on .. im like wtf? key isnt in the enigtion and the lights turn on by it self. WOW and my passenger side head lights whould work and not work.
I have to kinda flicker the switch around for it to work right. It seems like power is leacking when the car is sitting.

Let me know wat u think the prblem might be. i wanna take it to a shop but i dont wanan get raped on the price.

hmmm parasitic draw how wonderful...

for the time being you can rig up a ghetto toggle switch to kill the lights manually until you find the problem. it seems you have a short some where. it's time to troubleshoot your wiring. is it the headlights or tail lights or both?

and i had the same problem where my passeneger head light wouldnt' work. it ended up being a loose connection where the headlight connects to the positive battery terminal (both headlights connect directly to the positive terminal on the battery into that plastic red connector, the wires are thick and white).

but time to start tracing the wiring. common places where wiring gets chewed up is the driver side fender if you have lowered your car and removed the plastic fender flaps. it could be a faulty head light switch or some bs in your fuse box or someone did some ghetto crap before you owned the vehicle.

but since you mentioned that you have to play with the headlight switch, your switch could have gone bad. try swapping in another one. you can obtain one perhaps from a junk yard or start a WTB thread in the for sale section.
