Eh. I didn't listen to this yet since I can't at work, but NIN hasn't done anything good since The Fragile, IMO.

haterade, with teeth and year zero were both very listenable
....ghosts was kind of lame, frankly. but it made some insane money and proved the new model can work, so... still cool

NIN hasnt done anything for me since about 1999.
Its just not nearly as good as it used to be.
This new song is very poppy.

eh I am not impressed either. Trent has done much better in the past. This sounds like a demo. This song could be be so much better produced. Trent is slipping.

actually yes i listened to the fragile at 11 because of my older brother who was in to such music as them, funkervoigt, factrix, test dept, other industrial punk, cyber punk type music. Granted he then went into the more independant areas of industrial and my style of music kinda changed from that. So yes i did listen to the fragile and the downward spiral when i was 11

The Fragile is what originally got me into NIN. I dont listen to it all the time anymore, but when I do, that album is still as good as the day I got it.
Everything NIN has released since The Fragile has been ok at best. After a few listens I get tired of it and then I never listen to them again.
