View Full Version : no name intercooler from ebay?good/bad idea?

i saw a fmic kit for s13 sr20det dat can hold up to 650-700 hp for $200+shipping, it includs 4 x aluminum intercooler pipe
4 x reinforce high temperature silicone hose
8 x t bolt turbo clamps
1 x vacuum line
1 x polish 30x12x3 intercooler


core length 24" core height 12" core thickness 3" inlet / outlet size 3" end to end length 30 1/2"
would those b trustworthy? n how can u tell if the material of the fmic is good when ur holding it in ur hands??

help any?

it works. its just the fitment that you have to worry. i like mines!

If its all stock i say get it if you want if your fully built right and going to keep building it no eBay junk.

i had a ebay one..i like my greddy alot more...

SSAC as been tested on a flow bench to keep up with the name brands.. so thats what i bought at first.. then i sold that car.I had no problems

my advice to everyone without even owning this is you get what you pay for. Pay cheap get cheap.

I am rebuilding my suspension entirely, just missing FLCAs, changing spindles, subframe, everything.. if i wasnt 'oh its too expensive' in the start i would have saved alot of money.. learn from it, experience teaches hard. (Well I'll have lots of parts to sell soon though hehehe)

I'm sure it'll work but remember this.

godspeed should be decent but expect a lot more from a name brand. I have a HDI fmic kit and nothing about it is bad.
