wow, good stuff. Personally I like the RB-Performance FMIC kit, how it looks with hot and cold pipe on same side of interooler, but this is SO much cooler. rep to u buddy

This has nothing to do with any intercooler.

Also the rb26 runners are way too big for a 20. It might work if you have a fully built engine with step 2 cams, and big ports.

actually this has alot to do with intercoolers...now you wont have the ICP running over the head (getting super hot). it can come down the passenger side and u can have a regular intercooler instead of a gay one. plus better airflow for the intake manifold which is another huge plus. i would like to see the dyno sheets to see how much of a difference it makes without changing anything else...

If you read the thread it explains that shorter runners and ITB's are not a bonus on a small displacement engine.
Basically to take advantage you would want to run 2.2 or the 2.4, port head, cams or your usable power band would be extremely high.

i thought about that, however the post here are correct, it would obliterate the torque on the 20. you would be better off with a custom intake manifold, even 26 guys ditch the ITB's for big power and torque. for the longer runners and big ass TB

i would just rather get a RB26

All I was saying was that even though you will have a nicer looking piping setup that is "better flowing" The fact that the rb20 will run like shit will negate those advantages.

Again RB26dett itb and plenum is too big for a rb20.
