pretty gritty sand paper to get some of the residue paint off after aircraft stripper. self etching primer. then whatever color paint. and high temp clear. Also, a can of glitter clear cause thats awesome. o wait, and also a wizz wheel to shave the letters. and done

Make sure you don't get any of that stripper on your hand. It starts to sting after a while.
Or, just wear gloves.
Use steel wool when you're using the stripper.
Works like a charm.

I use dollar bills when I work with strippers.

Use duplicolor stuff for a good look....and alot of coats...maybe some flake if you want to get creative....
But nothing beats powdercoat......

aircraft remover.
then scratch off the rest with a wire brush. sand down with like 400 grit if you want. Then prime it. Sand down any imperfections with like 800 or 1000 grit. Then paint and clear.
that's basically what I did. Oh and make sure that primer, paint, and clear coat is the same brand so that the chemicals dont conflict. I used duplicolor primer, paint, and sparkle clear.
