for the better part of the past year i've been working on building my SR in prep for what i wanted to be a full-race GT30 twinscroll setup, but due to the fact that i think my KA is about to crap out i'm going to have to put it in a little sooner that thought. the block and head have been built but i don't have any after market stuff yet only stock to bolt on to it (intake manifold, turbo manifold, turbo, ect.) what i'm wondering is with what i have already could i use the stock intake manifold and have the stock turbo rebuilt (needs it) by FP into the BigT28 and still be able to make somewhat decent power until i can upgrade to something better? here's a list of what i've done so far. any ideas welcome, BigT28 users also welcome to give a guess on what power levels might be.

Head:
fully extrude honed
BC in/ex. valves
BC springs and retainers
BC 264/264 cams

Block
wiseco 86.5mm 9:1 pistons
manley rods
arp studs
calico bearings

I was gonna say, just use your stock turbo, but if it's no good then paying a few hundred bucks for FP to give you a Big28 isn't a bad way to go. Getting an actual T3 wheel into a T28 will give you a little more power, but that'd involve actually buying a T28.

For cheap, just get a S14/S15 BB T28.
For a little more money, get your T25 built by FP.

good option, power band looks nice from what I have seen on a sr20, little peaky but overall broad, makes about 360 to wheels on DSM gs-x's at all 4 wheels

i'ed be happy if i could get 320-350whp out of it at least to start, i did see in some older post that enthalpy really hates these turbos lol. and that's not good though cause i was kinda wanting him to do my ecu reflash. i'll shoot him a pm and see what he thinks i guess
