^never heard of that. I think you're wrong. Only years that were 26mm were 89-90 and then from a certain period in 90 and up it was all 30mm. All of them were aluminum UNTIL... they started making the iron 30mm ones later... i forget exactly which period though.

R32/R33 ones were 30mm and 32mm with different slightly larger rotors, I forget the rest of the details on the gt-s,gt-r calipers though.

^^ yeah i got stuck with 1990 Z32...26mm blah.
But i know Iron vs Aluminum varies throughout the models.

I might have to break down and sell mu 26mm and by these. :)

Correcto. Only the first series N/A 300zx had the 26mm Calipers. I am running them right now. After mid 1990 or so, they switched over to 30mm Aluminums.

My theory is that Nissan orginally made the 26mm as N/A. Then as the Twin Turbo came out, they had to upgrade with the 30mm aluminum. Then I guess they wanted more upgrades with the Iron calipers.

=) TT's are 30mm aluminum/ and cast iron. 26mm only came in early series of the 300zx (N/A) only.

I AM RUNNING THE 26mm all around on my s13, and they SAVED My life, and saved my CAR!
Definitely Worth Every penny!!
