I am getting close to the completion of my S14 RB25DET conversion, and I have run into a problem. The lower hose fits great from the Skyline GTST, although with the koyo radiator I can't make the upper hose fit. Does anyone one know of a hose that works with the koyo radiator, for sure. Thank you

I dunno. I used the stock RB hose on my KA radiator and it fit fine. I had to trim it but no biggy. Otherwise you can buy the Z32 radiator hose and cut the bends out of it. There's a writeup thread on racebread.

I originally tried to use the RB hose, although when I installed the koyo radiator it would not fit. I tried to use a universal Summit hose and it was no where close to fitting. The area is so small that the end covers took up all the space. If anyone has a picture of a specific hose that they used with there koyo radiator, I would appreciate.

like darius said, you can use the Z32 lower hose and by cutting it up you can make your upper and lower hose for the RB. I know you've already got the lower hose, but why not just go get a brand new Z32 lower for $22 at autozone. Then you'll have brand new upper and lower hoses. I'll post the pic/instructions for the Z32 hose in a min.

The Z32 lower radiator hose is basically the same size hose as the the RB/KA but its bigger right at the end that goes onto the thermostat housing (like the RB). So all you need to do is buy the Z32 lower radiator hose. When you get it, you will see that the angles will not work for the RB. The Z32 lower radiator hose has two 90 degree angles and one angle slightly over 90 degrees, but the orientation is not correct.

In the picture above, use the bottom portion of the hose to make your RB upper radiator hose. Use the rest to make you RB lower radiator hose. But when it comes to the lower radiator hose, you will need to get a plastic radiator hose union. That is because the orientation of the angles (on the z32 hose) will not work for your RB lower hose. So cut it into 2 piece, rotate it to make it work. Then take the plastic radiator hose union to join them back together with hose clamps.
that explains it very well. all u need is the hose and a coupler

I stumbled upon this Z32 hose thread before, hopefully it works. Thank you for the reply and diagram
