I think its butt ugly, throwing that asside lets look at the price.
$5000 for the car
$2000 for shipping
$2000/$4000 for making it street legal in the US (if its even possible for you)

All that and your stuck with a ugly car with the steering wheel on the wrong side. I don't care what anyone says, having the wheel on the wrong side is annoying and is not as safe. I wonder if you could get it here and part it out for more then you bought it or ebay it to a bunch of ricers.

Why so much? &nbsp;I met a guy at nopi who owns an S15. &nbsp; He said it was a pain to get legalized but was easier because he had connections(he worked for nitrous express), but he never said it cost anything like that.

then he didn't do it legally - simple as that.

first of all either you are
A) bsing us
B) your friend has mad hookup

because that's one of the G-Grow demo/show cars.
looks like ass but it used to be yellow (ggrow likes yellow)
so which is it?
ive seen that car tons of times in magazines
and that car has BRIDE seats, not Sparco.

also your car wont be legal in USA nad you'll tons of fees just to get it here as well as time with the DOT and so forth 2000? yeah just for fees.

That car is really nice. Other than the spoiler and the paint color I think it is an awesome deal. Does Cali have that strict of emissions laws and all that it cost 20 grand do make it legal? I live in South Carolina and here we never have our cars inspected.

This guy is full of BS, thats G-Grow project car, no way its going for $5000. Besides, why would they sell one of their project cars to buy another one. I think they have enough cash anyhow...

P.S. that is SO NOT a nismo rim!

I'm not sure what assumptions that importer was making.

$2000-$4000 would basically assume that the chassis has been granted eligibility by the NHTSA and the engine has been EPA certified. &nbsp; That covers installing all the doo-dads required in the US, proper headlights and a MPH speedometer and whatnot.

The RHD 180SX chassis and the SR20DET are both considered just different enough from the 240SX fastback chassis and SR20DE that they're NOT considered eligible. &nbsp; That means crash testing and EPA certification.

Like the car except the front bumper, and off corse is ricie is a nissan they eat rice in japan. And that car is made in japan. So is even better having the seat in the opposite side u can have your challenger closer to u when u race next to im.

i think the car is dope...but i wouldn't pay 5000+7000 (12,000 total...if my math is up to par &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> ).

its kinda wierd looking i think, but i grew on me the more i looked at it...its just really original, that's probably why i like it (original here in the states, that is...i dunno about japan).

i'd pass on the car though, like i said earlier. for 12,000 bones...you could get your own rps13 and do your own stuff to it and that would be more satisfying IMO.

good luck with whatever choice you decide on.

I thought he was just showing those pics from the g-grow site to show everyone what the kit looked like to give you a basic feel for the car. &nbsp; Also he COULD just be buying it for all of the parts/or to swap vins..since he said he already owned a fastback....but then..i'm not him.
