I am a member of AZ240sx and have been for about 4 years, I have the same user name and run the Turn Style Drift events ;) you should come out to our next event and check the car out in person...maybe I'll give you a ride along lol
The KA has been sold :(
The greddy pulleys, as well as the CAS cover was anodized pink by a local company :)
The intake manifold was chromed by a local chromer, as well as the intercooler piping and everything else shiny you see :)
The Bride material was bought from Bride when the Zeta seat was purchased. A local upholstery shop redid the panels and will be redoing the rear seat with partial gradient, partial black suede.

Greddy pulleys came blue. I had them custom anodized pink as well as clear coated to prevent the pink from fading hopefully

I'm almost scared the attention this thing will catch when it's done..note to self and thiefs..adding electro shock alarm..do not touch my shit or my car will kill you and I will point and laugh!

But yeah..car will run this week...as long as this stupid lower harness works out the way it's supposed to..its basically done besides that.

Hurray to starting and running my car with open turbo elbow..no down pipe, test pipe, or exhaust in yet.. Yes there will be footage :)

Ha koopa..hows J land? Honestly my true plan is to blow the motor up so I can then rebuild it. On this stage on my build I have spent an upwards of 12k++++++ all paid cash by saving, trading parts, selling parts etc. The reason the motor isn't built is because I didn't have the cash..and I wanted to drive the damn car...seeing it sit there irritated me. Yeah I like my turbos big and no lag..so meh we will see. Depends on how much money I can save up and how quickly I blow this motor!

I'm not the normal materialistic GF. I buy my own parts instead of buying clothes, LV purses, and lame girl stuff that most girls usually buy. I spend all of my money on this car..and all I ever ask for holidays/bdays is car parts.
I do the work on my own car; each day I look forward to what I have next to do on my car. The motor was torn down outside and and reassembled by me. I learned the hard way on some things..like I am the queen of over torquing bolts and snapping them off. I've had to redo a lot of things I did because I had no idea what I was doing, little to no help from outsiders, and learned by my own trial and error.
I did have some help with actually putting the motor in as well as changing my diff out..and some other little things that took more than one person..or more strength than I had...big thanks to Densetsu for that!
I've always from day 1 worked on my own car and have learned a lot. I change my own tires at events...sometimes even help others. I enjoy not being the girl whos boyfriend does all the work while she sits back and is lazy and has no knowledge.

But yeah thats me..

Weeee...off to go work on the car...
Task for today is..my 3rd and final intercooler pipe should be done being chromed today so install and tighten t bolt clamps all around, need to syphon my old gas out, fill up the radiator with H20, put oil in the motor, and figure out the deal with my gay lower harness..

The car will be a semi daily driver, and of course used for drifting, auto x, and grip driving. I'm sure I will also put it in some shows to support and fulfill my sponsor agreements.
The wheels in the pics are different because..
1. In the photo shoot I was running AME Circlar Spec R's
2. As of right now..the car is sitting on stock wheels until my new AME"s will be in from Japan this week or next..then the baller wheels go on :)

The vinyl is for sponsors..its a requirement when they help you out and its nice to be able to support people that support you.
For now I will run a clutch fan. In AZ it gets to about 117 in the summer..some motors can keep cool with a clutch fan and some need electric pusher and puller fans...depends on the condition of the motor. There is a custom fabbed fan shroud being made so I will try that route first. If I have cooling issues then I will add a pusher fan..and if I continue to have issues I will do a fully electric set up. The anodizing of pulleys was a gift from my sponsor..and it rocks!
The AME Wheels in the beginning photos have been replaced. Though I loved those wheels, I wanted a lower offset front and rear. I buy wheels like most girls buy shoes..
My oil relocation kit came in..so off to install that, my hood, and start putting the body parts back on! It might be started today????

1) It surprised me... like a couple others, I assumed it was a guy's car, and was going to say how cute it was that his good lookin Gf was helping... then I looked @ the username... then I felt dumb.
2) Actual good parts/good fabrication. No BS builds here, kids.
3) Zilvia Heavyweights weighing in - everyone knows Jack apparently, even in other states. Steve has a custom RSS feed set up so he knows whenever the words 'engine management' come up on zilvia. Koopa actually has a nice turbo setup and likes to bomb on the hopes and dreams of kids who don't. Good stuff.

Excellent car, can't wait to see the wheels/engine management/final look - not to mention track pics :)

The wierd thing is in each pic I took the weaving looks totally different..but beautiful. Hood is a little aggressive for me..but I think once the kit and wheels are on..it will look hot!

Car didn't run today..I think I'm too scared to push the start up..don't want to deal with the what if's or the it needs this part or this is fucked up..lol. Meh..maybe tomorrow.

I tightened down all vacumn lines today, trying to finish up the little stuff thats remaining. Eventually this week I will become unlazy enough to add oil, add distilled water, syphon gas, refill gas, put in the battery, and maybe crank it.

Then why is the clutch for the fan attached and chromed? Dont know what Im talking about... Hmm I think Ive built and installed more motors than most of the people on this forum. The clutch fan is such a drag on the motor. Just go ahead and run a couple puller FALs and be done with it. They have models that flow over 3000 cfm that should be plenty. Not saying the clutch fan doesnt work because it does but the power loss and free rev you loose isnt worth it.

I've had people out here with the same exact motor set up that have either both ran fans or both ran clutch fans and 1 will have cooling issues and 1 wont...it's really random. I will more than likely go electric just don't want to deal with it at the moment. The clutch isn't chromed nor powder coated due to the fins and the balancing issues I would have if I did either of those. It just has a very light coat of paint that matches the silver powder coating.

I am going to leave the inserts in the hood for now because they match the mesh on my cwest grill..see how it looks once its all on and then decide. I am going to try to get the fenders and headlights and stuff of today so I can get an idea of how the hood really looks.

I have twin 12" puller fans on my RB26 that pull about 4000cfm combined, never had a problem.

This is true. I never have had moving over heating issues. I just always had issues of heat at idle so I got the electric fans and bam no issue anymore.

Yeah I am really unsure about what to do with the grill. Once I can get the car to hold idle and quit stumbling like a drunk school girl, I'm gonna work on the final aesthetics...lol.
I've changed plugs twice, tps, ignitor, timing, maf, checked coil packs, blah so much crap. All vacumn lines and couplers have been checked like 10 times...I'm almost at a loss here. Gonna attempt to change the o2 sensor and continue on the battle..

Finally got the wheels on... Big thanks to Cooper for the tires :)

Crappy pics..I will get better ones this weekend..

Still have to roll the fenders in the rear..possibly add small spacers in the front and lower the car a tad..

The wheels are AME Shallen CX 18x9+12 and 18x10+15

Tires are 225/40/18 and 245/40/18. The thing with the tires is that I had found Cooper's run very thick which I was unaware of. I used to run the same size on Falken Tires and they were a good stretch. So it really is just a difference in manufacturers.

The radio antenna I got from Logan at A Spec :)

The car is still running rough..gonna try to diagnose it again this weekend and hopefully get it back on the road by next week

I dunno about strong and steady LOL. I have gone through 3 alternators in less than a week..original one was bad, got a used one that ended up being bad or I fried it, and then napa gave me one today that was totally busted. Good luck to alternator #4..hopefully this one pulls through for me!
