ive heard that having a ram air system disrupts the maf. is this true. im very curious. its something about ram air systems causing trouble with maf sensors.

How would you set up Ram air on a 240SX? Anyway a ram air setup does'nt speed up the amount of air entering the engine as much as you may think. Not sure on exact number's but if I remember correctly it's like only a .4psi (or was it .04?) increase in the manifold. Think of it like this, you get a new Exhaust that gives you 10 HP. How doe's your engine get that extra HP? By being able to "suck" in more air into the combustion chamber. Now lets say that a ram air set-up gives you 10 HP. Both give you 10 HP and both cause the same amount of "air" speed in the air intake track. So anyway.......

I don't think it would cause a problem
