buttt, if he kills them while catching them in the act of stealing his property its defense of property/livelyhood regardless of if he thought of it. Like for instance, i can say, if i catch someone trying to steal my shit ill kill them. I dont see anything wrong with that.

dont spend 25 to life over some thieves. just hold 'em untill the cops get there (use resonable force if you have to, also have proof of what they were trying to do.)
p.s. dont post that you are gonna kill someone or, any other illegal activity (no matter how justified) on a public forum

Besides it's only self defense if your life is in imminent danger. Them staking out thieves then trying to attack them would not be imminent danger.

I don't know about that. Cause if someone is in your house, or has a weapon at you, I'm pretty sure it's legal to use whatever means necessary to stop them.

alright here's an update, i'm not going to kill anyone i was just really mad, i dont even have a gun, you know when you're mad you say you're gonna kill someone? yeah well we were already connected to the police station and about 5 minutes ago heard a loud smash followed by a car driving with no headlights HELLA fast. We tried to follow but lost them. Yeah sorry for being heated and saying stupid shit. Oh and they're not car thieves, they're house thieves. Even worse.

It looks like the dudes stole a car and took off, right now i'm hearing sirens and stuff. These two dudes are like known house thieves and they were scoping out houses to rob i guess. So yeah looks like its over.
