I installed a Sparco Corsa a while back with some custom brackets and have recently replaced the brackets with some NAMS ultra low rails . With doing that my factory buckle is now to awkwardly placed to be used, so I'd like to go ahead and do a 4 point:2f2f: . I'm looking mainly for install pictures, but I'd also like to know anyones experience with one (quality, fitment, etc...). I plan to do a cage later but for what its going to cost me and how I want to do it, its not in the budget right now.

its 350$ for 20cents in metal and 10$ in industrial hiems.

what else is there to know about it.

to be honest with you, running the factory seat belt with a fixed bucket seat is about as safe as using a milk crate for the driver's seat.

as for 4 pt. harnesses, unless you're planning on buying the Schroth ASM 4 pt. harnesses, you're still running a dangerous harness setup that will most likely result in you sliding out under our belts

sliding out? probably not

dying in a rollover if you don't have a proper roll bar?

You must have zero experience purchasing aluminum because current prices for structural tubing like that is much more. So you FAIL in trying to be a jackass.

I know you've read all that in other threads before, but sliding out from under a 4 point is next to impossible if you have it on correctly. So you can join McRussellPants in the FAIL group.

Surprise! 240's came from the factory without a roll bar. You know though, maybe I should put one on my bike, it doesn't have one.

DOES ANYONE have anything constructive to add, because the three ^ obviously don't.

I remember seeing someone making his own harness bar bu ti can't find the link.

ANyways. Definitely check this link out. There is tons of information on proper mounting locations for your harness.

Yeah broseph stalin, I need to go level up in the home depot steel isle before I can get enough experience points to buy aluminum tube.

You're defending Harness Bars and 4 Point Harnesses, two of the most ghetto "safety" items there are. and from the sound of things you paid 400$ for a peice of Tube and a couple bolts.

who's the jackass?

Awwww, someone got their feelings hurt:wtc: . I'm not talking home depot consumer prices, I'm talking about OEM direct prices I get from Siskin Steel & Supply. Oh and they're $300

You know most cars come with 3 point harnesses......how ghetto is that!

cars come with 3 point harnesses BECAUSE they dont have a rollbar

with 4 point harnesses and no roll bar. you are stuck in an upright position in the vent of a rollover. then your head gets crushed and you die

with a 3 point, you are pushed to the side when your roof collapeses...

Isn't there a thread for Picture requests?

As for crying about people not being positive, it's Zilvia. You'll realize that people aren't jackasses, they're just extremely true.
