My friend is a greddy dealer and I'm thinking about ordering their 264 cams. Most people run hks and I don't recall anyone running greddys. Anyone know if they're worth a damn?

HKS are by far more popular, but the Trust (that's what Greddy's called in Japan) cams are definitely in the same caliber. It really comes down to specs - some 264 dur cams have 10.5mm lift (close to stock), some have a very aggressive 12.5mm lift (Tomei Procams, among others) and might not play nice without solid lifters/etc supporting mods. I'm pretty sure Greddy has a valvespring set that they recommend with their 264 cams... compare your price on cams/springs with the market, and then choose.

if you have a s14/15 motor and want to keep the vtc then you can get away with 264's if they are low lift (10.5)

i thought greddy's were 260's..... (fuzzy memory)

Tomei's the one with the weird durations. 256, 260, and 268 or something.

Yea my friend is about to close down his shop and his greddy account. He said he was going to make one last order and anything I order will be at cost. I'm glad I just got my refund so I can go ape shit crazy on a greddy shopping
