This weekend I'm working on making a custom panel to house my boost controller, turbo timer and climate control. This is going in the space where the passanger airbad would be. Here are my questions.

1, can someone point me in the right direction to some info about fiber glass.

2, Where can I get the material to make this work?

Any general hints, tips and adivce would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jed

I think it was mentioned in passing once before in sport compact that aircraft spruce is good for sourcing composite parts... You can order the fiberglass and materials from them on their website here (www.aircraftspruce.com) and they also provide free catalogs... As far as techniques, I've found that using aluminum tape to make your form and laying the fibrglass and resin inside of it, kinda like a bowl will net you pretty damn good results... You can cut and sand it to whatever contours you need with a dremel tool, just make sure you wear a mask...
