I want to know if I bring in a exhaust that is made for the JDM S13/S14, would it fit the 240SX??
Any customizing??

Exhausts are chassis specific.

Yeah, but say that exhaust was made for the JDM S13, will it bolt onto the 89 - 93 240SX??

A JDM Exhaust will fit a USDM S13 240sx.

It will fit, but you would want to find the exhaust for the s13 Q's model (SR20DE - non-turbo) since the pipe size will be more tailored to NA applications. Do a post search to read why this is better.

One more question:
Is the cat. convertor shorter on the JDM S13?

What cat? I don't believe silvia's or 180sx's have cat's what so ever. The s14 sr20det motor that I worked on had a straight pipe where the cat is on the s14 is.
Edit: most (if not all) Japanese exhausts are the same as their us counter parts. On the s13's it bolt's right to the back of the stock cat. Apex'i and Blitz are, both this way.

Silvia's and 180's come stock with cats and they are the same as the U.S. model. Also the stock exhaust on a Silvia or 180 (S13) looks the same as the 240.
