I was recently hit and need to cover up the damage so I am getting new front fenders and overs for the rear. I searched and didn't find a thread specifically about overfenders. Pics, specs, installation, fitment, pretty much anything you want to to say about your experience with over fenders or questions you have. I am trying to save money so I will probably install them myself unless people highly advise against it. I figure I can test fit them then drill holes and rivet away. That is of course after cutting the stock well higher. Also quick question how high should I cut the stock well?

I'm thinking this thread is going to get locked. There have been others like this.
Fitment = bodywork, pretty much whatever brand you get.
Cut your wheel wells above the body line that S13's have.
Good luck.

Well if it does get locked, thanks for the help anyway.

General consensus is that you cut the wheel well about an inch above the 'body line'. The problem with doing this yourself is that you're going to have a gap between the outer body panel, and the panel that makes the inside of the wheel well - not to mention the strength of the "unibody" has been compromised.
To make up for this, you weld them back together. If you cut it right, they'll be close, and it's an easy weld job. If not, you have to be good. Either way, you'll want someone who's comfortable with a welder doing this for you.
Other than that, the actual drilling/riveting isn't too bad. Remember that the panel can and will change shape (and in changing shape, change how much it sticks out from the car) depending on how much you 'pinch' it when positioning it. This is how you get a 30mm overfender to look stock, or a 50mm overfender to stick out 80mm. Just start drilling/rivetin in the same place left and right, go slow and try to make both sides look the same.
Oh, and body shops that make overfenders don't use rivets, they use a special 3m double-sided tape, then just sand the edges down. Some people like the rivet look, though. Either way, it can look OK with you doing it, or it can come out ghetto.
