View Full Version : Worst luck ever!!!! FIRE in shop

had 2 silvia builds going on at one time in my parents shop in cincinnati when a huge fire broke out thursday....both the sil 80 and the s14 were inside....my dad managed to push out the s14 but the body kit and doors were still off from the fresh paint....the motor was still being built so i didnt have to worry bout that. The wiring harness is fried.we dont know the extent of the damage but luckily the fire was in the front of the shop so just water and smoke damage......i got some pics of the sil80 and ill get more of them when i can......horrible luck

dude that blows, i really dont know what else to say. do you know the cause of the fire?

ohhhh...dude. harsh.. smoke damage is the worst! it sucks bad man... i hope you can get a wiring harness for cheap ;)..

they say it was a electrical fire which isnt our fault bc we leased the building so insurance will hopefully fix everything....kouki tails kouki turn signals, wiring harness, all my intercooler piping, and a spare cf exhaust i had layin round.

on the downside. that sucks(and i hope your seats wont smell forever)
on the bright side your car still looks good lol

haha thanks....the seats were shitty so il get some new seats :) .....so much for the silvia build .....now got to find another shop

ahhh shit this is why im always sketched out when i leave my shop after i paint or something. always worried about it lighting on fire from fumes and what not. that sucks though, hopefully you had insurance and some will be covered

thanks guys.....ya everything is insured so it will be ok.......just have to tear down the whole shop so i got to find another place to build the s 14

That's terrible man. At least everything is insured though.
