whats going on? I got a 95 s14 with only 91k on the chassis.
My problem is i live in boston surrounding area.. theres a lot of bumpy roads and unsmoothness. The car seems to be real rough and uncomfortable over these surfaces.. its dropped pretty low but not absolutely dumped like some of the other people on here.
I'm wondering if its the coilovers or what.. they are ksports because i'm a dealer i run them. only other things i have under there is a rear camber kit and rear subframe spacers.
Anyone with more expensive coilovers experience this?

The coilovers are your problem.
that or if you have heavy wheels or low profile tires.

wheel and tire specs?
suspension and coilover settings?
how old are you coils?

Coilovers will make the ride feel a lot harsher and if you are running low profile tires that will only make things worse as well.

are they adjustable? my car rides like shit around here too but its just what happens when you have super shitty roads and aftermarket suspension....I have tanabe pro 7s on my car and I had them cranked all the way up on full hard and my car would bounce around like a clown car everywhere I drove....finally i said enough and dialed it back...its can still be pretty rough and annoying sometimes....but our roads are so uneven that its pretty much gonna be the case no matter what

I have volk gt-v 19x8.5 up front 19x9.5 out back with 225/35/19 and 265/30/19
very low profile... i was wondering if buying upgraded tension rods, tie rods and ends.. etc would help at all. i understand this isnt a luxury car but i have ksports on my b15 and it rides great also had them on my rsx and same thing.. low pro tires on both too.
the dampening now is right in the middle.. rates are 8/6
19's and you're wondering why the ride is harsh?
You could go with softer springs but that's not going to do much. 7/5 would show minor improvement.
Upgraded suspension parts show even less compliance that stock parts, meaning you'll feel every bump even more.

yea figured that... i'm gonna change to peak performance subframe spacers instead of the aluminum ones i got now.. that might help a little. 19's is probably the main reason. also an energy suspension bushing kit maybe...

if you get new tension rods and you want the ride to be smoother dont get pillowball ones... or anything pillowball really. Theyre WAY stiffer than oem

its the 19's on 30 series go home and put the stockers back on and you will see the difference

19's would be the biggest thing. How's your preload set at?
