I have an OBDII 240sx and the header replaces the cat. What is everyone doing to get rid of the check engine light ?
Also is it just a code or does it throw the engine into a limp mode/etc.
Thanks

Rear O2 is for diagnostics only. All you'll get is a CEL without it, or with it seeing an improper reading.
Just as it's been discussed many times before, replace the exhaust resonator with a functioning cat, like a Random Tech piece, and weld a bung in the back side of it for the O2. Extend the wiring a bit and thread it in. All it's looking for is a change between emissions level from the primary O2.

The bung thing I thought about, but it looks like the 3" catco I am looking at doesn't have enough meat for a bung...I'd rather not have the shop hack into whatever cat-back I decide on.
