There is one in Redwood City, which is right between SF and SJ.

It's on Woodside, it's a 76.

100 octane gas is available at select 76 gas station locations, I believe it's on their website, but be ready to pay $8+ for a gallon...

Even closer Gotelli's speed shop SSF/San Bruno Area Don't know how much but they also carry C16 leaded and Obviously you're looking in the wrong places or not hard enough plus if the overall price of crude oil goes up then the overall price of gas is going to go up also including race/high octane gas and everything eles that comsumes gas. It affects the big picture.

100 octane is not the correct octane for the sr20det... you will get better performance running 91 and most likely still run rich. if im correct the recommended fuel is 98 octane in japan, which is equivalent to 93.1 octane in the US. and we can get 94octane here for under $3.50 a gallon...

i dont quite understand what you are saying. 93.1 octane is the same as 98 octane? and in the bay area all i can get is 91 octane at most stations. i read here on the forums that 100 octane made the car run better and had more power. also it lasted longer. not sure if this is true or not though. its just what i read. also i would LOVE if the gas around here cost ONLY 3.50... but no... its about 4.00 for 91. gas prices suck.:-/

Umm... Posting the link would help... Because it just makes you look silly.

There are threads on here as well as a few decent ones on rx7club.com regarding making your own fuel. Only problem is some employees will think you're trying to make meth when you are looking for certain chemicals.

thats why i said in japan and in us... it cracks me up when all the ricers talk about japan being the motherland with 100octane going in every car, i always correct them as soon as they say something.

cool. i just am curious to see how my car runs with octane close to what it was meant to be. if i mix 91 octane and 100 would it lower the octane closer to 98? also is the wun in infineon open to the public or is it on race days only?

and as stated before you will prob. make more power off of 91 since they run rich from the factory.

Some people are just ignorant. Being it's a fairly stock Sr 91 doesn't hurt anyways never saw the point of higher octane ona a stock motor beside gas milage. only reason to run anything higher than 93 is if it's a built motor that's meant for race gas only or high boost where detonation is ocurring no matter what on 91/93

well there is no 93 octane here so if any of you would like to tell me where i can get in the BAY AREA. then that would be nice. if you read my post i clearly said i t lasts longer. thats the main reason besides power that want higher octane. and i still dont get how 98 octane is the same as 93 octane. if it was the same wouldnt 93 octane be called 98 octane? someone please help me understand that.
