Just like the title says, I searched up and down on Zilvia and couldn't find anything.
I just installed a 3" cat back exhaust and had no problems for a good 2 months. Recently I decided to see what it'd be like with the silencer removed.
After removing it the car started stuttering, typically around 3000 rpm under load. With a steady foot on the throttle, the car will accelerate, stumble, accelerate, stumble until it reaches about 4000 rpm.
At some points it's really bad, to the point where the car is basically jerking back and forth as it puts along.
Anyone experience anything like this before? I assume it has something to do with the amount and velocity of air now traveling through the piping due to the lack of restriction. O2 sensor? EGR?
If it helps, I failed smog HARDCORE, like 3x the legal limits on most emissions.
Any help appreciated! TIA!
