1.What alternator are YOU using atm?

2. Im looking into buying an aftermarket alternator(mine died), if its designed to use a smaller belt to acheive the given amperage would road racing cause premature wear?

I have a 96 240 base. Im torn between getting a known working unit from another car, or a rebuilt one (cost).
