View Full Version : Authentic Version Select Kit???

ok guys I bought this kit a while back, paid quite a bit for it($1000). Bought from a seller on son240sx.ca. I told him I wanted VS kouki v1 kit, clearly told him I wanted the real deal version select. anyways doesnt version select always stamp their name/or logo on their aero products??? below is a picture of what is stamped on my sideskirts. does anyone know if this is a legit version select kit??

my version select kit didn't have any stamps on the side skirts. it had a peal off sticker on the inside of the bumper. IDK about s chassis but I know for my car version select is no better fitment than any other knock off

Well I ordered the VS3 for my s13 here in zilvia and when it came in, it had origin stamp :D

Sorry no help but I heard rumors saying they are both the same kit but about the VS stamping not so sure.

My VS kit had a VS sticker on each part with the prod date/ mold # and a signature under the quality part.

my vs kit had the exact same markings. i think its legit. and mine came in a vs box. and i only paid 1100 so i could see 1000 being legit.

VS does not have any stamps, just what you see in that pic, wasiest way to check is via part numbers, but I guess you would have to speak with a dealer regarding what the part number corresponds to.

1000 is a ripoff... Unless this includes front and rear fenders and/or shipping...

Also vs and origin are not the same, but you probably received an origin kit because the v3 and aggressive are close to the same and v3 was out of stock and the dealer cut you a deal.

long story short.

he was a guy on son240sx.org(a local 240 website here in Ontario) who sold the biggest piece of shit, perhaps the greatest deathtrap ever, to some guy and passed it off as if the car was good. IIRC

no...i know who he is tho lol...scammer. read that thread about him selling a $200 rust bucket for a few grand. I bought of quincys14 or something. The fitment on sideskirts is absolutely horrible. I dont think it s a authetic vs v1 kit.

mine came with origin paper fiber glassed into the back of the parts with mold number and production dates on them
