But just can't find any post the relate to it.

yeah, the taillights suck. shitty build quality. don't expect to just slap em on without doing some modifications to them.

I sealed the lenses to the housings with aquarium silicone, as there was a sizable gap in more than a couple places where moisture could get in.

Then I used transparent red vinyl to make them red, since the chrome look is super wack and doesn't do it for me.
