Anyone have any experience with K-Sport coilovers? I can grab a set with 4k miles locally for $400... How stiff are they? Easy to use?

they are horribly dampened, meaning one shock will be completely different from the other.

Duly noted. Will avoid. Any inexpensive coilovers or lowering springs/new strut combos anyone could suggest? My car is a daily driver. I rarely take it out to the track. I just wanna stiffen the ride and get rid of that horrible fender gap.

I did. I found nothing really useful.

My friend has K-sport basics on his S14 and it actually rides a hell of a lot smoother than what I was expecting. I have K-sport basics on my track S13 and it feels smooth as butter on the track when paired with a nice diff. I don't know about daily-drivability, but I have no problem with the K-sport products I use.
However, even with that being said, I would save up from something better. I am personally going to go with Stance GR+ Pro's after this season.
They're really not much different than your average cheap Tein, KTS, Stance, Megan etc. damper.
For $400 you're not really going to find anything better to get the car low and still have some travel.

Interesting I know of about 6 ot 7 people running K-sports. They all compete in track events too. Only one person has ever blown a coil....
Maybe us Canadians aren't as hardcore.

I run KTS Spec B Coilovers on my 180. Rides awesome!

I had K-Sports, they were fine until I took them off. They had a narrow range of adjustment where you'd actually want them to be, but I'd say the same is true of most of the cheap "JDM" coilovers(which includes the much beloved by Zilvia Stance, KTS, etc.).

I had K-sports and I didn't like them. They seemed stuff but really bouncy (in a violent way). Plus they are blowing and leaking fluid. Get some Stances if you want to feel like you're driving a go kart.

Aren't 240 just oversized go-karts anyway?
