I bought it from my friend back in august of '07 for $200. Its a 1991 S13 coupe converted to 5speed. It was rough after sitting for about 2 years. First thing i did was clean all the junk out. I should have taken more pics during the build but this is it. All of this was done driveway style (lots of grease stains now :rawk: )
Then i pulled whats left of the engine

Sanding the engine bay a little at a time

Now its time to put on my Alabama SAE safty mask and start painting the engine bay.

Thanks guys, this paint job barley cost anything for me to do in the driveway, doing it the rattlecan way probably cost more lol. I recommend for anyone considering spraypainting their cars, look into single stage painting first. This was my first time ;)

Not bad. How old are you? Ditch the emblem.

What was wrong with the motor? What did you do to it?

Word! That's a nice quick and simple DD build, I dig it. Obviously paint isn't 'like woah', but fuck, it's driveway single stage, it looks great for what it is.

Im 18 years old and im still debating on the emblem. The motor was missing a lot of parts cause someone tried to put on a new HG and quit halfway through. I tore into it and found a worped head and blown headgasket so i sent off the cylinder head get decked and cleaned after that me and some friends threw it back together
