i live in Ontario and wanted to get together to check out some of the local 240's. i'm in oc a lot too. i think a weekend would be cool. or how 'bout the speedway in fontana haven't been there yet, or the fairplex in pomona haven't been there either but i know where they're at.

or we could just go to a restaurant, mall, or whatever. post any ideas you may have, or suggestions. looking forward to checking out the 240's in the area.

A lot of us (most of us?) were just at the SpeedtrialUSA event yesterday (and some will be there today), so why don't we organize something in a few weeks' time?
Maybe a gtg down at Huntington beach or something?

I live in Rancho Cucamonga, right next to Ontario. I work and im always in Ontario. Maybe you've see my 2-tone blue/gray S13 coupe. If its all beat-up then its me. Maybe we can meet up one of these days. I have 2 neighbors(both girls) with 240s. One is a HB, the other a convertible.

i agree w/ adey. after the 6 im going home. its a good 2.5-3 hour drive back to south orange county from willow springs

70 bucks at "drift day" isnt a lot. if it is, you need a new hobby, or a second job! or mommy and daddy to pay for it..cheap cheap!!

How about a first job? lol. ever since moving to san jose from LA, I haven't been able to find a part time job... because i can't find any places to work at late at night AKA time when I'm not in class. check with Ikea, they hire late shifts (restock, warehousing etc when the store is closed) and pay well. around 10 bucks an hour for starting i think...my friend is going to get a second job there maybe...

yeah right! I wish I had a VLSD too, but from what people've been saying, it's good to learn w/out an LSD, then get one when you can sort of do it.... it's supposedly a better (or maybe just a "good") way to learn. We shall see!

Well, I would still be interested in having a meet in January. I wanted to do it in Jan for a couple of reasons. One, I am going home to NorCal for Christmas break until Jan 6th. Two, and the most important reason, we should have some time to plan it rather than just tossing it together. I was thinking like a BBQ or something, not just meeting in a parking lot at night. I don't know about the mall, I have had bad experiences with mall parking lot meetings. Security gets kind of upset sometimes and you can't really do anything about it. If we can find a park to go to, we could have a bbq where everyone has a chance to meet and hang out, show off their cars. Then we could go for a drive or something after, but you can't really plan that on the forums cause with our luck, we would have cops sitting and waiting for us wherever we went. I don't know of many parks in the Pomona area, but there are a bunch listed on the Chamber of Commerce (http://www.pomonachamber.org/city_parks.htm) website. Right now I am in NorCal for the holidays, could anyone down there take a few hours to check out some of the parks and figure a good one?

i was at ontario mills recently, at gameworks arcade. Its a nice place to have a meet with plenty of food and drink around and stuff like that.

How about further South in OC, a lot of the guy seem from that area. Im in Aliso/Laguna area south of Irvine and this place has a lot of nice open areas for meets.

Yes, cops do read forums, although I have no idea how often they actually read forums like Zilvia, it's just always advised that you don't talk about specific things like locations of canyon runs etc. online. And yes, it is considered loitering, and once they kick you out, the cops know that there is a big group of car guys cruising around, and they are looking to fill their quota of tickets for the week. *note: Not ALL cops are dicks, just a lot of them* I wouldn't mind a meet a little further south, all we have to do is find a good place with a descent amount of parking.

there is this burger place called Sonic in fullerton off the 91 by anaheim.  i see a lot of meets there from time to time on sundays. ive seen a viper meet, a ricer meet, a muscle car meet, camaro meet and so on and so forth. there is plenty of parking. i like the way their parking is set up we can line up cars around the restaurant and in the center there are dining tables and stuff. there is also a food4less next door so we can use their parking too.
