Hi Guys, I have a 1995 S14 and a 1998 Silvia half cut that I used for my SR swap. I want to use the JDM cluster but it doesn't connect like the USDM does.
Does anyone know compatibility info for S14 clusters??? I'm thinking the Zenki and Kouki onces are different and maybe I need a 95-96 JDM cluster to make it work? Any info would help!

We just discussed this like four days ago, and that was the hundredth time this year.
Cut and splice the plugs into the dash harness, the 97-98s are different than 95-96s.

There are zenki and kouki differences in the clusters.

zenki clusters have the speedo cutting into the tach side. koukis, they are seperate and full circle.

That is true but the plug in connectors are different between kouki and zenki. Zenki has 4 plugs while Kouki only has 3.

Yah I know, i went thru this shit trying to figure out why my speedo aint working. I have a zenki and I borrowed my buddys kouki thinking they will plug in. I guess I had a total of 3 zenki clusters...2 black and 1 white...
If you still have both full cluster, you may get away with keeping the cluster housing and swapping the faces out with the JDM one. Im pretty sure they are the same clusters and shit. Take the front covers off, 2-4 screws securing each gauge on the clusters and swap em and see if they work. Worth the shot instead of changing/looking for plugs...

Nope, the housing is different between models and won't accept the other gauges, so is the actual gauge face.
