I dunno if i should go with the:
Apexi N1 dual
HKS Hiper
Custom Flowmaster setup
NY is now beign asses about how loud exhaust is so i think the dual's may be too loud, but i really like the way they look and the sound is decent.. The HKS has a good nice sound but I think single tips look kinda funny on S13.. And my dad really wants me to get a whole flowmaster setup with dual tips, but i dunno how it will sound with the KA, they sound great on american cars..
If anyone has pictures or sound clips of the HKS hiper please post them up. Your opinions really won't matter to me but do you gusy think the duals are too lud for NY, just tell me some thoughts, i need more stuff to think about to make a dissussion...

I have the N1 Dual and it is loud (but still nice), but with the sliencers the tone is dulled down a bit. From your list and situation I would go for the HKS, but have you considered the 5Zigen Fireball?

sup eric. this is tat. lolz, yeah i can't believe that you got a ticket for your freakin stock exhuast on queens blvd. it hink those cops are just being total asses. i have yet to be pulled over once in my duels yet. i honestly thinkt hose cops got nothing on you. and most cops wont' pull you over unless you got either a fart pipe, or a leakin exhuast, and that will only lead to a fix it ticket.

I got the HKS HP. (Hiper, whatever you wanna call it). It looks just like the N1 single, except there is a small difference between the two's tips. The HP sounds a lot different though. Mine is the 2.5", yet it seems to sound a little deeper then the N1. I'm overall really happy with this exhaust. I noticed an improvement in flow the moment I stepped on the accelerator to pull it out of the garage. I would seriously recommend it to anyone. The only thing is, it's more expensive then the N1 single, for the same looks, half an inch less thick piping. Quality-wise, I'm sure they're both the same. I'm not sure why the price. Maybe the "HKS" stamp on the tip...

Yah like GTspecR said the n1 dual is pretty loud but not lie a fart can.I helped GtspecR install his n1 dual yesterday with a gutted cat from catco.I hadto cut one of the bolts off the get his old cat off then his other bolt just broke off.But the rest was easy and his car souded pretty damn nice even without the exhaust on the car.I have never heard the HKS hiper but the n1 is pretty loud as well but nice.

Yeah, you should also consider the 5Zigen system. When I get my exhaust sometime next spring, I'll probably buy it. I haven't heard a sound clip of it, but from what I've heard, it's not quiet, but it isn't incredibly loud either...

I have heard from a lot of people that the N1 dual is about as quiet as exhausts come. So is the 5zigen fireball.
Flowmaster are extremely loud on american cars (only place I've heard them). I don't see how they could be any quieter than the N1 dual.

By far is the n1 dual quiet at all.You have to be going like 55+ mph before that things quiets down enough but it is just not an annoying loud it is a real deep roar.If you want a quiet exhaust get a greddy they are usally the quietier"sp" ones out there.
I heard N1 Dual is very quiet, on a turbo application. I may be wrong.
Anyways, I'll be trying it out... Then I'll know the truth.

I have the HKS Dragger on my S-14. Its a little to quiet for my taste so i normally run open headers on the street. My friend has the N1 on his s-13 dohc KA. The N1 dual looks a little too rice for my taste but thats just me.

The N1 Dual sounds nicer and quieter(is that a word?) on turbo applications.
