Still don't know if aftermarket exhausts sound better than stock anymore....
I was arguing with Travis last night about how the KA doesn't sound bad, so I dug up a couple clips or the old stock KA (well, i've got a cone filter and 2 cats):
stock KA at rest (http://www.uconnrh.com/240/bouncethelimiter001.AVI)
(these 2 are pretty large)
stock low rev in cabin (http://www.uconnrh.com/240/MVI_2001.AVI)
on highway (http://www.uconnrh.com/240/MVI_2005.AVI)

I see your point, stock sounds pretty nice, both of your cars sound nice, but the 240 has a nice sound to it stock. You know how those truck motors are always louder than normal <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

i'll admit that i do sometimes miss the grunt and "hey look at me!!" factor of the loud ass exhaust.... the ability to be heard on the other side of a college campus.... the stares from girls as i drove by.... the domestics picking on me.... etc

i agree, i had a pop charger first, and i liked the way it sounded, then i went back to stock, didnt like it lol, so i just got a full intake, then i got a weld on muffler, big mistake, very little power and shitty sound, then i got this 3 inch catback and i love it!!! i would definately take this over stock!

i dunno DMCS14 has stock exhaust with the exhaust premuffler cut out and replaced with solid pipe(b/c it had a hole) and we took out his intake resinator adn his car sounds beastly. i like the stock ka exhaust
