Hi gents....Did a search and no luck. Need some help from you DIY'ers. I picked up what I thought was a HKS actuator kit for the t28 turbo. Im guessing it's for a t25 turbo because nothing lines up. (Bracket.) My questions is: Have any of you tried to mount the HKS actuator to the OEM bracket??
Thanks.....

So I'm guessing you got an HKS actuator with a T25 bracket? Take a Dremel to the bracket you have and make it fit. I did it, it's not tough.

Thanks for the reply. How did you get around the actuator rod? Did you fab up something to use the OEM actuator rod, or did you use the stright set up that came with the kit.
Thanks again......
Here is what I have. Can you tell if its a t25 bracket??

Hmm...that's interesting. That's definitely not a T25 bracket. I was able to shave my bracket in a couple places, and cut a notch or two, and it fit just fine. That, though, I'm not so sure.

The only advice I'd have for that piece is...examine it really carefully and see if you can cut it to make it fit :-\ Sorry I can't be of more help man.

Thanks for the reply. I would try and use the OEM actuator bracket, but would really hate to mess something up in case it doesent work. Maybe somebody that is reading this may have a oem t28 actuator that the actuator dont work and will sell me the bracket cheap.:hs:

Well, I'm pretty sure the OEM actuator is fixed to the bracket (i.e. welded). You could probably take it off, but you'd have to cut it.
