I have a leak problem that my friend and I can't figure out.
Sometimes, there will be a puddle of leaking coolant sitting underneath my car. The coolant, however, will have the consistancy of oil (slick and smooth). The puddles seemed to be comming from the driver side, so naturally, i thought it might be from the turbo lines.
We double checked the lines, and all connections from the turbo to the block, and to the water neck, nothing. the block is dry, so is the turbo, and the neck. we double checked each fitting, and no leaks.
where can it be comming from?

I would have assumed the turbo too since its practically the only thing that contains coolant on the driver side...
Towards the front or back or the engine?

jack your car up and then let it run and see if where the coolant is coming from..

did you only check it when it was idling? my turbo line was leaking only when it was revved.

it seems like the fluid is collecting toward the back of the engine. and it doesnt leak while running, or idling. it just leaks when the car is off, or when ever it feels like it.

Check your heater hoses. Even if they're tight, some old coolant may have leaked and collected in the frame rail, and are now dripping out after some time.

Check your water pump as well.
Mine never leaked while running, only out of the weephole over night.
Also try spraying town the engine with brake kleen so the leak will be more apparent.
