did a search didn't find anything. When you install an aftermarket steering wheel, obviously the drivers airbag is gone but will the passangers airbag still work in the event of an accident

yes it will deploy. enjoy replacing your dash..ive been through that before :bash:
or refinishing it...but that looks tacky to me. so i replaced mine.

If you run a bypass resistor, yes. Otherwise no, it will not deploy. Removing the driver side creates a dead short in the circuit.

I think its questionable whether or not itll deploy anyway just due to the age of our cars...when I hit a telephone pole I had a tomei steering wheel but my passanger sided didnt deploy either....I know a few ppl who got into accidents in older cars and their airbags didnt go off....Im glad mine didnt tho, I broke my nose and shit but I have a feeling an airbag smackin me in the face would have done a lot more damage

The passenger side won't deploy if you remove the stock steering wheel unless you install a resistor where the airbag use to plug into.
