he orginally built a turbo manifold for the wimpy chevy 4cyl and stuck a turbo on that. The transmission lasted all of a week however. He replaced in and I believe a week later shot part of a rod through the side of the block.

He used to have pics of the old set up but I can't find them though.

Is it actually running? I could post a pic of my 240 with a jet engine in the bay, but if it's not running...

Its is not running yet. He is still working on the turbo manifold and charge piping. I think his biggest problem is going to be drive shaft and rear end. He hasn't mentioned that to me yet.

Why would making a driveshaft be a problem places like driveshaft shop will build whatever you want... just send the the yoke and diff flange.

Can he not just use the stock rear diff or is it just really weak?

The stock rear diff is an open diff and already on its way out. FOr the driveshaft I believe he said he was doing all the fab himself so... This is or was his daily driver his project car was a civic si. IDK the kid is a mad scientist lately.

That's some crazy stuff in that s10. I'll be rocking that blow off valve all day and every where I go just to show off.

Ah, I see. He should definately think about at least having the driveshaft balanced at a driveshaft shop to make sure that he doesn't end up with a ton of bad vibrations.

Props for a different project. I'm not much of an S10 fan, but to each his own.

s10's with power are a lot of fun to play with.
i had a 375hp sbc in my s10 and it would pull the front wheels off the ground.
kind of curious to see this thing go... after installing an rb in an s10, youd think the manifold and piping would be childs play.

He is trying to do an equal length manifold so its a little time consuming. That and he works a full time job and goes to college full time.

Little bit of an update here. Its in and running now, not on all cylinders but it seems because a couple of the coil packs are bad
