the timing chain on my s14 is going out and causing my knock senor to go off.
does any one know a cheap mechanic like under 450 in socal? or is there someone in so cal who is willing to let go of there ka24de engine for like 500?

I'm sure there ar TONS of people willing to sell you a KA for $500. I can do the job for less than $450 for sure. I'll PM you with a complete estimate tomorrow. Exactly what year is your car, I doubt there is any difference in any of the parts or the labor, but just to be sure. Van Nuys is pretty damn close to my shop in Northridge.
