I did the frontend swap in the parking lot in front of my apartment one afternoon, took me about 6 hours, but it was worth it

I am sure someone around your area has a garage with lots of tools, and they can help you out with it too.
Those are some nice cars, slap some Typhoons on the turbo fastback and you got hopefully my future car, might be a KA though.

I really like that conversion. That looks pretty sweet man. The "sleepy eyed" hatch looks nice as well.

6 hours? hmm.. yea i can ask some help from my friends(they all live on apt too)...
definitely a weekend work out... but still.. it would be cheaper if i get a front clip.. but back to the garage thing... the shipment and the motor swap will give me quite a headache...
hey am i venting? oh well...

yep 6 hours, but that was completely on my own without the proper tools, just make sure you've got a 10mm and a 14mm socket, and you should be set, another set of hands and you could probably do it in a couple of hours....I spent probably about 2.5 of those 6 hours running around instead of actually working on the car

I really doubt that he painted the front end himself. From his sig, it looks like he has a nice finish to the car. If he did paint it himself, he probably wouldve had a garage to work in and not in front of his apartment. Anyways, nice ride.
As for the J-plate, us Nihonjin have been doing that for years, but now a few gayasses are putting them on their hondas and they appear at Import Showoff....so its getting kinda cheesy. We also sport the yellow/green beginner badge that beginning drivers in Japan must have on their car.

I didn't paint it myself....really wish I had a garage so I could teach myself to paint...already know bodywork...
anyways, the front came from two different cars...at least...the hood and bumper were all black, and both fenders were the tan/brown two-tone.
I had the car painted at *cough*mayco*cough*...
and honestly, I'm quite happy with the way it came out, I didn't get the cheap package either, instead I got their most expensive one (still hella inexpensive compared to most other places) but it's got a 4 year garauntee on shine, so in 3.5 years I'll be bringing it back some way or another to get them to repaint it...that time maybe in 350z blue...
